Our vision at TAD Driver Training is to create the safer drivers of the future by establishing strong foundations based on well-developed safer driving skills and a clear understanding of the road rules, legislation, and the consequences of speeding — even just 5 km/h over the limit.
Our instructors are fully accredited and licenced by RMS NSW. We all have extensive training in NSW road rules and safer driving, and closely monitor, observe, and explain these skills to every student. Whether you're a new driver just starting out, an overseas student, a student with special needs, an overseas visitor, or an experienced driver wanting more tips — we are well positioned to provide facts, comfort, confidence, and to ease any anxieties about the driving test or driving in NSW.
When it comes to the test, try not to think of it as a test. The drive covers the average roads and intersections you encounter on an average day — a simple, non-complex drive around the area to show your ability to operate a motor vehicle independently, legally, and in a low-risk way. The drive is focused on observing and rewarding drivers who show behaviour likely to result in a lower risk of being involved in a crash.
At TAD Driver Training, we provide high-quality instruction tailored to your needs — whether you're a complete beginner or regaining confidence after an incident.
We offer driving lessons for NSW Learner Drivers at any stage of the licence process — any age and any level of driving ability. All vehicles are fitted with dual controls and are fully insured.
Currently we offer automatic vehicles only. Manual instruction available in your own manual vehicle if preferred (manual school vehicle coming soon).
From beginners through to advanced drivers, our friendly expert instructors help you gain the confidence needed to pass your Practical Driving Assessment on the first attempt.

TAD Driver Training proudly serves the Bathurst region and surrounds. We will make every effort to come to you.
We cover a 50 km radius from Bathurst with no travel fee. Outside this area, a $40 travel fee applies (up to 30 km additional distance).
